The BSC produces a number of publications including the BSC Newsletter (published biannually) and the online journal Papers from the British Criminology Conference (published once per year). If you present at our annual conference, you can subsequently submit an article based on your presentation (details here). Extracts from the most recent and archived copies are available to non-members. The full editions are available for members only in the Members’ Area.
The BSC has its own journal Criminology & Criminal Justice which is published through SAGE and is currently under the management of an editorial team based at a consortia of Scottish Universities: the editors-in-chief are Michele Burman and Sarah Armstrong from Glasgow University and Laura Piacentini (Strathclyde) .
Another benefit of full membership of the BSC is the British Journal of Criminology.
The BSC has a Publications Committee (Chair Dr Lizzie Seal) who manage the provision of these various publications and discuss new ideas/future developments.
